EDITING: Acting on feedback
Louisa said that our music video was good but lacked structure within the first chorus. I took this on board and took note of the shots that occur in the 2nd chorus and the order in which they occur, and thought we should repeat this structure in the first chorus.
So we have now changed the structure of the first chorus

Feedback from class viewing
We showed the progress of our music video to the rest of the class and received some feedback from them. The feedback was as follows:
"There was a very good use of editing and mise en scene"
"The mise en scene is definitely a strong point and you can tell there has been a lot of effort put into the edits"
"Good range of shots"
"There are a few shots that are poorly framed so you'll need to change those."
EDITING: editing ideas
We got a really interesting idea to include in our video which we were inspired by Example's "kickstart" video. It uses split screens to show different body parts of different people and bring them together to create a visual of a person. The distorted 'person' is a very unusual element that we might play around with as it is very effective and would be a great demonstration of our editing skills.
We would take mine and Naomi's legs, torso and face and mix them up in the different outfits that we have.
This is the video, take a look:
