PRODUCTION: The concept of the music video

The themes/concepts for the music video are fun, London and individuality

We have tried to convey this in a variety of ways. We showed the element of London through the use of location shots throughout to show iconic parts and including shots of us in some interesting parts of London. 

Throughout, we have tried to portray a fun and exciting feel through the performance, mise en scene and editing. It is meant to be a message to not take yourself too seriously and not care as much about what other people think or have to say about you. We are aware that to our target audience (11-16year olds) this can be a difficult thing to do and is a time when teenagers are more afraid to be different so we challenge that, and try to encourage it to show it's a good thing. We hope that this would be inspirational to our audience as a  whole.

 The idea of individuality also combines with that concept, and we tried to show this by putting ourselves in clothing that would contrast with the area that we were in, in order to purposely NOT fit in.

We hope our video will represent fun, London and individuality as well as fulfilling the necessary conventions of a music video.
