In modern day the music industry has changed drastically there are many more ways to access music,through things such as the way we listened to music. Nowadays we tend to listen to music on our phones ,mp3 players, iPods and computers as well as listening on the radio and a stereo. Digital downloading has become very popular with people using iTunes to buy their favourite singles. However illegal downloading has become very popular aswell meaning that this could cause record company sales to go down as people are purchasing the singles for free.

Limewire was an illegal downloading software program for music and music videos , this however has recently been shut down
